  8. AmiInternetTime is an amiga clock that displays the Swatch internet time,
  9. maybe you heard of this. The feature of this new time are that all timezones
  10. no longer exists, all geographical borders are gone. Everywhere in the world,
  11. the beats are in all countries the same.
  12. Did you understand? An example, you live in Germany and want to chat with someone
  13. in the USA, you have to meet at a certain time, let's say 12:00 p.m. German time.
  14. Normally you would now have to calculate the time differenz between German time
  15. and American time, but with the Swatch Internet time you could simply tell him
  16. "we meet at 500 Beats," the good thing is that 500 Beats in the USA is exactly
  17. the same time in Germany.

  19. As already said above, this new time doesn't have hours or minutes, only Beats.
  20. Calculation begins at 12:00 a.m. MEST (GMT+1) with 0 Beats. At 12:00 p.m. we
  21. have exactly 500 Beats, and so on. The time is written in the format 
  22. "@ xxx Beats" ("at xxx Beats").

  24. AmiInternetTime is FREEWARE! But it is still under my copyright!
  25. AmiInternetTime is provided "AS-IS". This means, you can copy it and
  26. spread it everywhere, but only if the archive, the guide,
  27. and AmiInternetTime are unchanged!
  28. AmiInternetTime must not be used for commercial purposes (selling,
  29. copying on PD-Disks and selling them or copying on CD-ROMs
  30. and selling them), without my permission. Posting on bulletin
  31. board systems (BBS) is allowed, as long as the archive and its
  32. contents are unchanged (see above).
